Asking the Lord what message he had for me, the holy spirit gave me three scriptures that I felt were of prophetic significance. The first scripture was Joshua 18. In the bible that I was reading, the title above the scripture states “Division of the Rest of the Land”. Many people are anticipating that the division of the land of Israel may come with Obama’s trip to Israel on March 20.
The second scripture was Job 33. The second verse points to the fact that tribulation will come to the righteous but it will not be because they have done wrong in the sight of the Lord but this persecution will come because they ARE righteous. These things must happen because they have been written in Revelation. In addition, the Lord wants to draw men back to him and show himself sovereign.
13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,[a] that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.[b] And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear: 10 If anyone is to be taken captive,to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
The third scripture was Daniel Chapter 4. In Daniel Chapter 4, the king Nebuchadnezzar has a dream of a tree that was cut down, however, the root remained intact. This is what I believe the Lord is saying. If the United States (represented by the tree) participates in the division of the land of Israel, the Lord will cut down the US (remove the US from being a superpower and leave her vulnerable to all kinds of attacks) for seven years until she acknowledges the Lord as sovereign again. I think it is interesting that it says “let seven periods of time pass over him” because many people say that the tribulation will be seven years. Another interesting point is that this coincides with Washington’s vision (see previous post) that a great peril will come to the US, however, the republic will survive after war with foreign countries and much destruction.
10 The visions of my head as I lay in bed were these: I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great. 11 The tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth. 12 Its leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, and the birds of the heavens lived in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.13 “I saw in the visions of my head as I lay in bed, and behold, a watcher, a holy one, came down from heaven. 14 He proclaimed aloud and said thus: ‘Chop down the tree and lop off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts flee from under it and the birds from its branches. 15 But leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, amid the tender grass of the field. Let him be wet with the dew of heaven. Let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth. 16 Let his mind be changed from a man’s, and let a beast’s mind be given to him; and let seven periods of time pass over him. 17 The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’
